Sun Safety – Art by Sarah Gooch
This poster is Sarah’s contribution to the “Destination Zero” safety campaign at her Daddy’s work. Sarah drew herself wearing her hat and sunglasses and then she decorated the page with little pictures of hats, sunglasses and sun screen.
All warm and fuzzy…
Aww :) I was just putting tucking Sarah and Becky into bed after their stories. “Night night Becky, I love you” I said as I pulled up the blankets. “I love!” replied Becky.
Grandpa’s Aphasia Association BBQ
Once again… captions to come!
Yesterday Sarah and Becky spent an absolutely GORGEOUS day out at Wynnum with Nana, Cole and Grandpa at a BBQ for the Aphasia Association at Wynnum. After a sausage and a play in the playground we went out onto the mudflats (Becky was not crazy about the mud, Sarah loved it… as you’ll see in the photos!), had a swim in the wading pool and then an iceblock with Nana and Tracy!
What a busy day!
Sarah and Becky’s very busy day with Bailey, Sheridan and Charlotte!
While Sarah was at school, Becky and I went to the shops to pick up my copy of Dan Brown’s new book “The Lost Symbol”. Then it was time for a spot of lunch with Bailey – mmmm chocolate sandwiches! – before heading down to the school to see Sheri and TJ perform at some dances that they’d been learning at school. And finally it was time to take Charlotte’s very, very special poodle cake up to the school in time for a her birthday afternoon tea!
Happy 5th Birthday Charlotte!
A very important day for Charlotte – it’s not every day that you turn 5! And as every 5 year old will tell you the party is actually all about the cake and the lolly bags – which must contain (as I’m reliably informed…) a lollipop, a balloon and some bubbles. It was also Jim’s first time solo at a birthday party :) He took the kids to Charlotte’s house and I joined the festivities after my band gig in the city. Look at that cake!! It’s a work of art.
