Sarah and Becky’s Story!

Yup, it’s that time of the year again – the BMCB’s favourite concert of the year. Thanks to Al and Mack we get some of the best seats in the house for the annual Riverfire celebrations. This year was Sarah’s third – she’s hasn’t missed one yet :) And of course it was Becky’s debut too! While she was really worried by it all, she wasn’t as impressed as her sister who sat there looking at the sky saying “Oh wow! Oh wow! Oh wow!” and trying to call out the colours as they exploded into the sky.

Newsflash – Becky just used a straw to drink some water. My child is a genius!

Sarah cracked her first joke today ;)

I was sitting with her on her bed trying to make conversation. I pointed to the almost human sized Elmo on her doona cover and asked who it was. Sarah just gave me ‘the look’ and continued with wjat she was doing.

“I know, that’s Dorothy!” I said. Sarah shot me another look.

A few minutes later she wanders over to the bed, points at Elmo and announces in a big voice “Dorrr-see!” before cracking herself up completely.

My friend Leeny is an awesome photographer. Here are some she took of Alex and Becky in Nic’s backyard earlier this week. What a cheesy grin Becky has! And Alex always looks so serious. Jen and I have set her a challenge, to get photo of a serious Becky and a grinning Alex :)
