Sarah and Becky’s Story!

This week Becky has started to grab toys and pull them towards her mouth for a good munch. Her rattle doggy seems to be the flavour of the month – literally! And she’s now rolling confidently in both directions – front to back and back to front.

Sarah has gained a couple of new words and is making attempts to communicate verbally. This week we’ve mastered “Up!” when she wants to be picked up and “Na!” when she wants a banana – but most excitingly… she’s started saying “eckey” which doubles for her sister, Becky and her teddy, Ike. She can also tell you that a cat says “Miaow” and that cows go “Mooooo!”

And so do zebras ;)

Uncle Jman’s little sister is leaving hospital tomorrow and going home to live with her new family. She’s such a tough little cookie, to bounce back so well from having caught an earlier flight :)

Our nappy from the second NAF swap arrived today! It was Sarah’s turn this time. We received a divine white minkee AI2 and some too-cute-for-words crocheted longings for a doll.

Today Auntie ‘Cole and I joined Sam & Erin and their cousins for a day of fun and adventure at Dreamworld. Tuesdays and Thursdays are half price for adults accompanying children under four years old, so as you can imagine there were lots and lots of prams and strollers about! We had a fabulous time, I don’t think Sarah stopped running the entire day. Jonathan is a big brother again! It seems she couldn’t wait to meet her new big brother and family, so she caught an earlier flight – 5 weeks early! Baby Sarah Jane was born on Saturday weighing just 5 pounds – mum, baby and big brother are doing fine :)

Wow! I’ve never seen the girl’s stash all laid out before. Usually half of it is either in the wash, on the line or in the basket waiting to be folded. Not bad, hey?
