Big birthday Cheers for Sammy’s First Birthday!!

What a social weekend! Belinda and James’ wedding, Erin’s confirmation, Sammy’s baptism and his first birthday party! However being the little social butterfly that she is, Sarah took it all in her stride and had a wonderful time. It’s hard to sit still when you’ve got energizer batteries inside – and just why exactly is Sam allowed to go and splash in that funny bath tub and I have to sit here and be quiet?? – but she was just beautiful about all the sitting and waiting and watching.

Of course it wasn’t all just sitting still, there was some serious dancing to be done too! Click on the photo of Sarah and Beth burning up the dance floor at the Algester Sports Club to see some more pictures from the weekend.

Today Sarah, Jim and I helped our friends Belinda and James celebrate their wedding day. I’ll be putting up some photos of the wedding soon, but in the meantime, here are two really cute .mov files of Sarah dancing up a storm at the reception :)

Exciting news this evening! For the first time ever, Sarah managed a jump – a real ‘push off the ground with both feet and land again’ kind of jump! There was lots of clapping and cheering – we were all very excited.

Sarah is such a social butterfly. She attended two birthday parties today – as well as having to sadly decline an invitation to a third. By the time we finally got home in the afternoon Sarah was completely partied out and was hanging out for her milk and a nap.
The first party of the day was for Bobbi and Paul’s son Jack – who was turning the Big One. Auntie ‘Cole took Sarah to Jack’s party so Jim and I could go out and have breakfast together without ‘help’ :) As you can see, Jack absolutely LOVED his train cake!

Next stop was for another little friend named Jack, who was turning two. Sarah party spirit was already starting to lag a little, but she still had a ball – There was a jumping castle, a trampoline, Wiggles movies and cake! Sammy and his big sister Erin were also at the party.
