I think Sarah’s getting waterlogged. Including her lessons I think this is her 4th swim this week? And she been loving every minute of it! Today’s swim was at Gould Adams Park with Auntie Cole and Grandpa.

Sarah’s hair is starting to get in her eyes during her lessons so today we trialled Auntie Cole’s swimming cap to see what Sarah thought about it – given what we all know about what Sarah thinks of hats! Hats no, hoods yes – go figure. Anyhow, she didn’t seem to mind it on there at all and wore it all afternoon!

With her newly acquired status as a Squid seems to have come a real ‘dare devil’ streak… she either has absolutely no fear of the water or and absolute faith that Nic or I will catch her whenever she leaps into the water – whether we are actually in the pool or not!! Today she was playing on the steps into the hydrotherapy pool when she suddenly took off towards the big lap pool. Auntie Cole leaped out of the water and ran after her – and just managed to dive in surface before Sarah jumped in fearlessly.

We discovered later too that the baby gate to the spa section of the wading pool was also almost no obstacle for our little terror… She managed to wriggle up high enough to get her tummy over the top bar. It was only that it was a little slippery that she lost her grip and came back down on the shallow side. You can’t take your eyes off her for a second!!
