Our daughter the swimming star!
Sarah had her first swimming lesson today and she loved it! Jim took her in the pool while I darted about with the cameras (yes, plural..) I taped the highlights – you’ll probably be subjected to it next time you’re over.
Six months already!
Last Thursday Sarah celebrated her 1st Half Birthday! It’s hard to believe that she’s six months old already. Of course, making it to six months also means another round of dratted needles… Sarah had those today and she was much braver about it than her mum – who dragged Auntie ‘Cole and Auntie Gail along for moral support!!
She was weighed and measured today too! You can see her new stats on the (finally!) updated “Watch Me Grow” page.
Geek in Training
How to get another 5 minutes to computer time when you really want to get something finished. Notice that half my screen is taken up by Winamp… another secret baby weapon!! Sarah is FACINATED by the swirling colours and shapes.
Cool Singlets :)
While we were waiting for the Riverfire to begin last night, Sarah took her Mum and Dad shopping at the Southbank Markets. She scored two very cool little singlets – the one in the photo below and another one in pink that says “Funky Little Chick”.
The BMCB had a concert at the Maritime Musuem in the afternoon, and thanks to some of our members who are also members of the museum, we were invited to stay on for a BBQ and THE BEST vantage point for RiverFire that I’ve ever scored! Hop on over to my main newspage to see the photos I took.
Father’s Day
For Father’s Day Sarah gave her Grandad, Grandpa, Dadda and Uncle Andy some special T shirts! We celebrated with a family dinner at our house on Thursday. Click on the photo for a bigger version…
