With their Daddy not getting home from work until 8am this morning (!!!!) the girls and I went down to Seaworld for the day so he could get some much needed sleep. The polar bears were awake and playing today. Sarah and Becky were both impressed with the giant teddy bears.
With Sarah and Becky’s Daddy out of town this week, the girls took their Grandpa to the Fathers’ Day BBQ at their school :)
There are baby chickens at the centre at the moment. They are very cute and fluffy! I like the photo of the chick coming out from under the lamp – “Close Encounters of the Chicken Kind” as they make their way out of the mothership.
For Fathers’ Day we went to Dreamworld - for probably the last time in a while as our annual passes expire in a few days. The weather was a bit damp (Sarah and I went swimming so we didn’t really notice!) but we still had a great time – and I got to take lots and lots and lots of tiger photos :)
Little kid Zumba has come to my gym. Sarah’s just old enough to join the ‘lil Stars group. I’d tell you that she absolutely LOVED it, but I’m sure you’ll be able to see that for yourself ;)
Our first trip to the Roma Street Parklands today! The girls joined their fellow BMCB Junior Members for a band gig in the park – complete with trip to the playground on the way home.
With Nanna, Grandpa and Nagymama in tow, Sarah and Becky had a ‘grand’ time at the Library this morning :) Stories, songs and colouring in, followed by lunch at Nanna and Grandpa’s house. The girls are looking forward to bringing Grandad along too when he’s feeling better. Photo credit to Sarah for the last three photos :)
A change of pace now for anyone getting bored with all the Dreamworld photos, this year we’ve got annual passes to Seaworld, Movie World and Wet ‘n Wild! Here we’re kicking things off at Seaworld with the Mensforth Family :) There aren’t many photos… someone forgot to charge the batteries before we left. Doh!
Sarah and Becky have mail! Nagymama and Grandad are on a cruise at the moment. The girls were VERY excited to see their names on the backs of the postcards. We can’t wait to hear all about their holiday.
