Today we celebrated Sarah’s 4th birthday with a pool party! Instead of a lolly bag all the party guests received a pool noodle to kick off the fun. After a swim it was time for Sarah’s Rocket Ship Cake and fruit for afternoon tea – Sarah was very excited about the cake. She told the girls at the pool that she’d made it herself
Thank you to all Sarah’s little friends from coming along to share her day, we had loads of fun! And thank you too for all the great loot! She’s a very, very lucky girl.
I’m really proud of Sarah’s cake – she was so so so excited to see it, hopping up and down on the spot with a big grin on her face, while yelling “MY CAKE MY CAKE MY CAKE LOOK AT MY CAKE!” I’d say she liked it
I was in the kitchen when Sarah appeared holding a ring of blue train track around her waist. “Look Mummy! I’m Saturn!” she beamed. Daddy is very proud
Becky lending a hand, posting the last of her sister’s birthday invitations. This one is on it’s way to Denmark!
Her shorts make me laugh – they are a size 0 and still the only thing holding them up is her cloth nappy! They are hand-me-downs from Sarah who was wearing them back in February of 2007 when we went down to visit her Great Grandfather. Sarah was 11 months old and not even walking yet…
Sarah is starting to learn her letters. After starting with ‘S’ for Sarah she asked me to show her ‘B’ for Becky. So clever!
